The 'Classic'
Total Contact saddle when viewed from above and flat.
The saddle measures 33.5 inches x 6.5 inches at its widest point.
The rounded edge at the top of this picture is placed just behind
the highest point of the withers of the horse/pony. This shade of
leather is Jet Black but is also available in Havana Brown.
The leather used
is high grade and from European sources not Asian imports. As can
be seen it should not be confused with other 'treeless saddles' in
style or effect.
This patented
design indicates the uniqueness of the Total Contact saddle.

Underneath
the top flap of the saddle
The top flap of
the saddle can be lifted to reveal the stirrup attachment.
This attachment
is set lower, relatively, to that of a stirrup bar on a traditional
English style saddle in order to alleviate pressure on the horse that
can occur and may cause injury and/or discomfort.

Left side of
the 'Classic' Total Contact saddle
Seen from above Here the left side of the saddle can be seen in
more detail.
The flap on the
top conceals the stirrup attachment whilst the slot houses the loose
end of the stirrup strap.

Underside of
the 'Classic' Total Contact saddle
Here the underside can be seen showing the padded area in the middle
of the saddle.
This area is usually
made of suede though at times we do use a soft leather covering. The
ring at the front of the saddle can be used for a handle or a breast
plate.

Italian
National Championships 2005
Gianpierro Carte, one of the best show jumpers in Italy, easily clears
this masive oxer. Note his lower leg position on the girth which is
helped by the Total Contact saddle design.

A
future World Cup contender ?
This
young lady has had just THREE weeks of lessons (she was taught the
Total Contact method) and had the confidence, and ability, to enter
this local competition. Great style gave her a place. She was thrilled
!
